Madras Café is an action thriller movie. Story line of the movie revolves around an Indian Intelligence agent, which is played by John Abraham in the movie and his journeys through the wars that he has been the part of. He gets himself engaged in the war from the coastal island, in order to break the group of rebellions. Being a very skillful agent, he deploys all of his available resources to make breakthroughs. It represents a scenario, where there’s no apparent army force he’s confronting to and has to keep in mind the caption line as advised “don’t get caught”.
In his journey of wars; he comes across with many enthusiastic civilians and journalists, naming Nargis Fakhri, who is playing a role of a Journalist and running after her urge and pledge to reveal the truth behind the civil wars. As the story moves on…their unfolding quest reveals to be disclosing the truth, which in turns comes out as a conspiracy, deeply rooted within the system and is carried out by a faceless enemy group.
The movie is planned to be released for 23rd August, 2013 in cinemas world over.

The movie has been jointly produced by three; John Abraham, Ronnie Lahiri and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, under the well-known and established banners of J.A Banner Entertainment, Rising Sun Films Production and certainly the Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
The movie possesses a heavy and strong cast, with John Abraham, Ayushmann Khurrana, Nargis Fakhri, Leena Maria, Sheetal Malhar and Rashi Khana. Mature acting of John and beautiful looks of Nargis Fakhri certainly makes a lethal combination.
The music of the movie has been directed by Shantanu Moitra, with number of melodious songs.
