On the second day, people decorate their homes with clay lamps or diyas and create designs patterns called rangoli on the floor using colored powders or sands. The Hindus also worship kali, the goddess of strength; this day also focuses on abolishing laziness and evil.
Hindus used to forget all the hardships and quarrels and meet their all relatives, forgetting all the bad moments.
